The Sight and Sound of Meronomy

November 1st, 2024 – Santa Fe, NM

Our approach to Meronomy was pragmatic. It's a straightforward system (uniform) comprised of smaller units (garments), each of which manifests through three well-defined supply chains. The unknowns exist in developing the design concept, which is currently internally bound, and in how customers choose to interact with the garments. Although mathematic boundaries were easily set, the logistics of freeing our IP, creating sewing guides, setting up multiple supply chains was a heavy lift. As we drowned in the materialization of Meronomy, we developed the urge to compliment its rudimentary nature with something abstract. At first, this felt strange, but we quickly realized it is a mirror of the Motosuit’s purpose: to define utility in human culture. As we see it, it’s a razor thin balance between activity-oriented function and emotionally-complex abstraction. With that in mind, we humbly present our short film “PRAXIS.”

Thank you to everyone that aided in bringing this too life. It was a simple goal, but a complicated endeavor. In the end, we’re moved by the final product and could keep developing it into eternity. Someone should take that idea for the manner a film is made and distributed: iterations, living.

Another fun manifestation of Meronomy is our playlist. It is curious, definitive, lush, noisy, aggressive, somber, and just plain harebrained. We hope you enjoy.
