When developing our sunglasses, we tested many lens colors and treatments. Ultimately, we sided with a grey nylon lens and green anti-reflective coating due to its functionality and subtle dreamy color. As we leaked the various samples, we saw an overwhelming interest in the one-off pairs. This was the perfect storm for a fundraiser. From October 7th - 14th, we raffled off six exclusive pairs of sunglasses to raise money for three awe-inspiring New York organizations. The entries ran for $10 and were unlimited. 100% of proceeds were donated to the following environmental, animal rights, and humanitarian foundations.

GrowNYC
Improves New York City's quality of life through environmental programs that transform communities block by block and empower all New Yorkers to secure a clean and healthy environment for future generations. Operates farmers markets, compost, community gardens, textile waste, and much more. Each year, offers 70,000 children a program to connect with nature.
CATSKILL ANIMAL SANCTUARY
Rescues animals from cruelty, neglect and abandonment. Provides refuge for 11 species on a 150-acre property in New York’s Hudson Valley. Offers vegan mentors, culinary classes, online education, sanctuary tours, and educational programs for kids.
COMMUNITY SERVICE SOCIETY
Alleviates economic disparity through research, advocacy, litigation, and other program models that strengthen and benefit all New Yorkers. Fights for healthcare, affordable housing, legal justice, occupational placements, youth programs, and overall economic security.
